REVIEW | Kids Headphones

We were sent a pair of the Snuggly Rascals headphones to review, and my goodness have I been excited to share this product with you guys! And the best news: You can WIN a pair too!
From the moment I picked the headphones I thought the boys would love I could not wait for their arrival, and let me tell you, they did not fail to impress!

I picked the Monster style Snuggly Rascal headphones for my boys, I thought the colour was fun, and I had recently bought them new PJs from Cotton On in a similar Monster style print, so I thought that would be cute.

If you follow my Insta-Stories you would have seen Jordy’s reaction to the arrival of the headphones.. If you don’t follow my stories, well let’s just say it was sheer joy and excitement! I think he thanked me 18 times that afternoon… and then he sadly lost the headphones to Jackson who has dominated them ever since! That is the job of a big brother, after all! 😉

My thoughts on these cute headphones are:

• They are super cute
• I love how they are set at a low volume so they protect little ears. This was one of my gripes with the Leap Pad Epics we got for the boys – the volume is set SO high that a) I worried about their ears, and b) they drove Justin and I MAD on car trips!
• I love that the headphones don’t sit directly IN the kids’ ears, but that they are rather set within the headband and over their ears. They are still able to hear what is going on around them, so when I talk to them it’s not like they can’t hear me… that doesn’t mean they listen any better, though!! 😉
• I LOVE that they are perfect for travel, not bulky headphones that continually fall off the kids’ heads, and are perfectly comfortable, especially if the kids fall asleep while using them.
• I love that the boys love them so much
• There are 6 styles to choose from
• They are completely washable as the headphones are removable so the grubby paws can be washed off them 😉
• The price: R249 is really a good price for something of this quality, created with kids’ best interests in mind, and compared to other headphone prices it’s pretty much a bargain!!
• The way they are packaged is just as beautiful as they are, showing how much care went into these products – start to finish! There are also cute stickers and kids activities inside the box
  
  

  

  When I asked Jackson and Jordan their final thoughts on the headphones they said they just love them. I asked them what they don’t like about them… Jackson said there was nothing he did not like about them, he just loved them. I tried to prod for negatives, asking if maybe he felt it didn’t stay on properly or. something, anything! He fiercely protected the headphones, saying they stayed on perfectly and there was absolutely nothing bad he could tell me about them! What a win of a product!
