In July I was asked to review the FitChef meals and I have been inundated by questions from you all asking how we found it and if I would recommend it! Justin and I were very kindly sent the 21 day couples challenge to try, and here are our thoughts:
Arrival:
It is safe to say that the order process and delivery as well as packaging of the FitChef meals impressed me from the minute the delivery man arrived with 4 (rather large) boxes, chilled and sealed.
Opening the boxes was one of the most exciting unboxes I have done this year, and I couldn’t stop grinning from ear-to-ear at the thought of not having to meal-plan, prep or cook for Justin and I for at least 21 days! Bliss!
Biodegradable Party Balloons | Yolo Party Shop
I was introduced to a wonderful new party shop on the North Coast called Yolo Party Shop. I was already excited at the prospect of sharing about a new local business, and when Tash mentioned to me how incredibly excited they were to be collaborating, and how wonderfully passionate and willing they were to offer unique balloons I became even more excited. From there I was continually blown away, moment by moment!
Diren arrived at my house on Saturday morning, the morning of Jordy’s party, arms full of gorgeous balloons. Diren is the co-owner of Yolo Party Shop, along with his beautiful wife. Diren arrived full of enthusiasm and so excited to be part of the event. He proceeded to inform me of the fact that he had 9 other jobs that day AND he was flying to JHB. All of that and he went out of his way to deliver the balloons for the party! I was, and still am, absolutley blown away by the heart of service that this couple has for their business.

Coach Learnmore is the most wonderful addition to any birthday party! We have known Coach for about 3 years now, as my boys did Footy with him down at the bottom of Ballito. His magnetic yet humble personality really endeared me to him, and I am so excited to tell you a little about this awesome guy!
Coach Learnmore is the most wonderful soccer coach, who is able to magically manage and keep all the kids entertained and active almost all of the time. A favorite for his is running soccer action and entertainment at kids parties – and he is GREAT at it! It is evident from all the pics just how much frun was had, and thanks to Coach, the kids were kept warm in the cooler weather we had on the day of the party.
Jordy’s LEGO Party
When I asked Jordy what theme he wanted for his birthday he responded – “I want what Jackson is having for his party”… He has serious heart eyes for his big brother, and wants everything he wants! But Jackson wanted a small Pirate Party with his besties, complete with a treasure hunt. Jordy though, as much as he idolises his big bro-bestie, is very different to him. Pregnancy Shoot | Jordy
The only pregnancy we did a shoot for was our precious little piggy in the middle – my Jordan Rock! Looking back at these pics makes me so wish we had done one every time. The shoot was a special gift from Adrian Shields before him and his special wifey left for the Cape.
And what a gift this was 😍
