Jordy’s party is now the third event I have collaborated with Taryn on, and I have to say she continues to blow me away.
After browsing Pinterest I found an amazing picture of a flame created with long balloons. I sent the pic to Tash (POSH) who said she had already seen it and sent it to Taryn (Yes, I told you Tash is next-level amazing!!), and she was waiting to hear from Taryn as to whether she could recreate the masterpiece. Taryn’s response: let’s do it!
Taryn proceeeded to research the best way in which to create the flames and got started on was to be a phenomenal feature. Unbeknown to me the flames took many more hours and many more balloons than any of us anticipated, and yet Taryn did not complain to me once. She had comitted to doing it, and boy did she absolutley blow me away! When I first laid eyes on the flames I got teary. They were an absolute work of art – balloon art!
Not only did Taryn create the arch feature for the main table (seen above), but she also created 3 other large fires which were plotted around the party. The wind was not my friend as it wouldn’t allow me to place them in the most effective places, and they had to be somewhat protected and heavily weighted, but Taryn did a phenomenal job, despite the very frustrating gusts of wind!
Over and above creating the most wonderful balloon art for the party, Taryn was such a blessing to have in the hour before the party started, she helped me and Tash with laying out final elements and food, and gave me a minute to run upstairs and change!
